Join us for an for an afternoon of the most delightful company the state of Georgia has to offer. Our very first Georgia Regency Society event is a Costumed Tea and Lunch hosted at the stunning Sugarplums Tea Room, held in an 1849 mansion in scenic Canton, Georgia. Tea and Lunch will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Regency dress is politely requested. There are no extra fees for this event, but each is to cover their own expenses at Sugarplums. We will be giving away an array of door prizes including handmade items and gift certificates for Sugarplums Tea Room. We are sorry, but please no children at this event as per request by the venue. Space is limited, and we have to give a head count by November 28th, 2009 so please RSVP as soon as possible.

We welcome everyone to a majority of our events, but please know that for this time around the venue has requested no children. The house is very old and is "not equiped for children," and this is for both the saftey of kids and the house alike. We apologize for any inconvience. Approxmiate cost for high tea is $27.65 including tax and 20% gratuity (automatically added for groups eight or larger). Lunch menu varies, and for menu pricing please call Sugarplums Tea Room at (770) 479-4050.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING HIGH TEA:
If you are going to have high tea (the fancy tea that includes all the trimmings), we have to know ahead of time. If you want to order this you'll need to send a check for $27.65 to Stephanie Cote, the organizer. This is because if you reserve a tea, it will be expected to be paid for, even if you do or do not show (they prepare just enough tea things that morning fresh for those who have reserved them). No one is reserved until the check is in hand. When you arrive the check will be handed back to you (it will NOT be cashed prior to the tea) and you can pay for yourself as previously stated above. If you are unable to come and not enough notice is given (72 hours) then the check will be used to pay for your portion of the tea. RSVP to the address below to get the address to send checks to. Checks must be in by December 1st, 2009. Those intending on purchasing off of the regular lunch menu, tea menu, etc. do not need to send in a check prior.
Door Prizes!
We have had a number of really amazing door prizes donated to our tea from several very awesome vendors and individuals. Every person who attends will get a free door prize ticket, but you have to be present at the tea to play! Here is the list of the fantastics items we'll be giving away.
